OK - Opera Mini Doesn’t Rock

Ok — Opera Mini still needs some work on the content creation side. I tried to make a Blog post earlier and ended up with 2 blank entries, which I only found out about because a friend alerted me. To be fair, I should have double-check that it posted something. Live and learn…

Reinforces my view that content creation is now the key issue for the Mobile Web.

I agree, what is the point of the mobile web if I cannot create or comment on content. This isn’t helped by the over use of pop-ups, particularly for blog commenting. One noticeable issue is that most have a ‘text entry mode’ which makes it hard to refer back to the source content.

    Hi Dan

The RSS feed still has a blank ‘0K - Opera Mini Rocks’ entry.

    I'm having a problem installing Opera 9.02 on FC5.
Every time I try to run it, it comes back with a “unable to find software information” error.
When I try to run it from the command line, I get 6 conflict errors.
I must add that I already have Opera 8.54 but I close it down before I try and run it.
