Federated!
This blog is now a part of the #fediverse. I was inspired by the recent migration user growth on Mastodon and other federated social web sites to get the ActivityPub WordPress plugin installed here and start federating out any posts I write here. For more info on how to get this working on your own WordPress site, see The Fediverse beyond Mastodon | Fedi.Tips – An Unofficial Guide to Mastodon and the Fediverse. I also had to muck around with my .htaccess
file and this post was very helpful.

@daniel curious if I reply that shows up as a reply in WordPress?
@daniel So how does one subscribe to a WordPress blog in Mastodon? I am very fascinated with this concept!
@ted@gould.cx it does! But does this get reflected back to the fediverse?
@houfu I think you can just subscribe like you would to any other activitypub feed.
@daniel this is cool, but I wonder why it had to clip the text so short ?
@daniel that's really cool. I didn't know you can do that. What's the Mastodon id for your blog so I can follow it?
@daniel fedi.tips bookmarked – thx.
@daniel One problem is that comments seem to appear here (in the federated timeline) even if they haven't been approved by me in wordpress… so I'm not sure where these comments are being stored / how the activitypub plugin surfaces them?
